Custom Kansas Event Installation: Rock Chalk Forever Entrance

Let’s talk about one of my favorite event installations to date: Rock Chalk Forever for the KU Alumni Association.

Rock Chalk Forever is the marquee fundraising event for the University of Kansas Alumni Association, based in Kansas City. When KUAA came to us for a unique moment to help highlight their title sponsor, we had so much fun dreaming up different possibilities for the entrance of the event. This year’s Rock Chalk Forever was held at T-Mobile Center, so we knew we had to go big to make an impact as people arrived for the event. We ended up created a 20 ft wide X 10 ft tall royal blue shimmer wall, with a large-scale, bold “Rock Chalk Forever” in a crimson red.

As a Jayhawk and huge KU fan, we absolutely loved seeing this bold vision come to life, especially in a way that honored their title sponsor the moment guests walked through the door.

At designwise KC, we hope to see more large-scale custom installations like this - it’s truly such a great way to highlight and thank your event sponsors!

This royal blue shimmer/sequin wall is now in our inventory, and we can’t wait to see it used for more KC events - imagine the possibilities for the Royals, Sporting KC, KU, and even cheering on Team USA in this year’s Olympics.
