Modern Branding Photoshoot: Disco & designwise KC

I am SO EXCITED to share photos from the mini branding shoot we organized in December! designwise KC has been in business for about a year and a half, and I had never had proper headshots or branding photos taken. Real talk: planning a shoot for yourself can be overwhelming. Not to mention, I hate being the center of attention. Like, I loathe it. I’m an introvert and I love working in events because I’m right where I want to be: behind the scenes :)

There are a million reasons to put off scheduling a brand shoot: too many paying clients, too overwhelming, not sure where to start, etc. I am so glad I finally decided to invest the time into my business and get this photoshoot scheduled. I worked with some of my favorite Kansas City vendors, along with a couple of new faces, to bring this to life. Working with vendors I’m comfortable with made a huge difference in my day, and I highly recommend Shelby Biggs Photography and Hustle & Bustle Events for any of your brand shoot needs. Shelby did a great job helping me pose and getting all of the details shots I wanted, and Jazmyn grabbed behind the scenes content for me, and was extremely helpful with grabbing props, fixing my hair, and more. We set up everything at Studio Kansas City, a brand new photo studio in Crossroads (so many photo opps!), and I went to Everyday Beaut with Holly for my makeup.
