European Romance in the Heartland

We’ve participated in a lot of incredible photoshoots since we entered the wedding industry in 2022, but this European Romance styled shoot from last month may be my favorite yet. Our friend Sofi with Philosofi Celebrations reached out to work with her and Mary Frances Photography on this summertime, European inspired wedding photoshoot, and we’re so happy we were able to join!

Unity Village is truly a stunning, romantic venue hidden in Missouri, and was the perfect backdrop for a romantic wedding day.

designwise KC partnered with Rock Scissors Paperie on a unique escort display to show guests to their seats. We decided to lean into “European” theme of the wedding, and we used mini-olive oil bottles as guest place cards. Each bottle had a custom label including a matching wedding design, and the name and table number for each guest. Our favorite part of this seating chart is that the olive oil place cards double as wedding favors! We titled the seating display Olive Our Friends (have a seat at our table), as a play on the olive oil too - we love a good pun!
