designwise KC was invited back to join another Thursday Therapy in Kansas City, and this one was a stunner!

I post about Thursday Therapy a lot, but if you’re not familiar: “Thursday Therapy is where business happens! We host gatherings once a month, open house style, networking meetings of Kansas City wedding vendors. This isn’t a stuffy, sit down meeting. It’s a laid back, come-as-you-are chance to meet other wedding pros. We promote a culture of camaraderie, collaboration, and cohesion within the wedding industry. It is through our relationships with one another that the wedding industry will become stronger and our businesses will be more successful. We welcome all people in the business of weddings to join our fun and festive mixers. Thursday Therapy is a place for us to meet, mingle, and share.” If you’re new to the Kansas City wedding industry or want to meet some new people, I highly recommend checking out TT! Okay, off my soapbox, back to the styled shoot and pictures!

Abby with A Wedding Come True came up with a beautiful theme and mood board for the photoshoot at the newly opened Paradise Garden Club in the Crossroads district of Kansas City! We set up our new white favor wall to showcase the branded sunglasses from Toast & Jam Group, with cute branded tags from Prickly Pear.

We also got to try out something new: an interactive photo backdrop! We layered multiple colors of metallic fringe to match the event theme, and had the backdrop set up so guests could walk through and interact with it! The backdrop was used in partnership with KC Photo Booth Co., who we highly recommend for your photo booth needs!
